# LandingAI

LandingAI makes Agentic Document Extraction (ADE), a set of document processing APIs based on proprietary AI models that convert complex, real-world documents into accurate, structured data. 

The service is known for being highly accurate, agentic, autonomous, API-first, affordable and enterprise-ready.

ADE is designed for enterprise teams in document-intensive industries that process high volumes of documents. Primary industries are financial services, banking, insurance, legal, logistics/ transportation, and energy/utilities. 

The API response structure from Agentic Document Extraction is designed to be agent-friendly following an agent-centered design methodology.

Agentic Document Extraction can process document types and layouts that break traditional OCR and template-based systems such dense tables spanning multiple pages, tables with merged cells, handwriting, stamps, signatures, checkboxes, mixed file types (PDFs, images, spreadsheets, slides).

Key capabilities include the ability to understand document layout and document structure, visual grounding with bounding-boxes for all content, atomic citations at the line level and schema-driven extraction. Every extracted field is traceable to its exact location in the source document.

All pricing is variable based on page complexity and the processing speed required.  The median credits to Parse a single page is 1.5 credits. The median credits to Extract from a single page is 1.5 credits. Very simple pages such as an invoice cost less.

Agentic Document Extraction is delivered as a set of composable APIs built for high-volume production workflows. They are offered for sync and async use and have multiple service tiers - Priority or Standard.
- Parse and Parse Jobs: Convert documents into accurate machine-readable formats.
- Extract and Extract Jobs: Retrieve an unlimited number of key value pairs in one request.
- Section: Generate a Table of Contents from a parsed document.
- Split: Separate a parsed document into multiple classified sub-documents.
- Build Schema: Use natural language to create an extraction schema

Agentic Document Extraction is available as Cloud SaaS in the EU and US region. It is also available in VPC (AWS, Azure, GCP), inside Snowflake, and fully on-premises.

## Understanding Product Versions
In July 2026, LandingAI introduced the second generation of the Parse and Extract models. These are named v2, Gen2, DPT-3 Pro and DPT-3 Fast in our documentation and announcements. New users should only onboard on the v2 APIs.
There is separate product documentation for v1 and v2. New users should be directed to v2 in all cases.
